QIs TriState Licensed and Insured?

A. Yes! TriState Moving and Storage is fully Licensed and Insured. Additionally, our drivers and movers are professional movers and are trained by TriState Moving and Storage.




QDo you move on weekends?

A. Yes - TriState Moving and Storage is open 24/7. Although our offices are closed on Sundays, our trucks are operating and moving every day of the week.




QHow do I confirm my move?

A. You can call our office and a TriState representative will call the day before your move to confirm your move with you.




QWill TriState Moving and Storage insure my move?

A. Yes - Under the movers law we are required to insure your items for 60 cents per pound per article for any material that is transported. However you can purchase additional insurance from companies such as MovingInsurance.com or Baker Moving insurance.




QHow do I lock in my moving date?

A. You lock in a moving date by calling our office and placing a deposit with one of our customer representatives.




QWhat forms of payment does TriState take?

A. We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover card and cash. The only type of checks we accept is cashiers check or certified checks.




QIf I need to cancel my move what do I need to do?

A. If you need to cancel your move, then we advise you to do so as soon as you find out. We have a 48 hour cancellation policy: you must let us know about your cancellation 48 hours before your moving date.




QI'm in a bit of an emergency, can you move me on short notice?

A. Yes! We can move you on short notice but you would have to call our office as soon as possible for more information.




QWill the movers wrap my furniture so it doesn't get damaged?

A. Yes all furniture is wrapped with quilt pads for protection.




QDo I pack or does TriState pack for me?

A. You have a choice to pack your own items or you can have our professional movers pack and label all your items (we do charge extra for materials).




QWhen does the clock start running on my move?

A. The time starts when the movers get to your door, but we do have a standard 1-hour travel time that's tacked on at the end of the move (this 1 hour is for the time to drive to your location and back to our office).




QCan I buy boxes from you?

A. Yes, we can bring boxes on the day of the move or you can have a box delivery before your actual move date.
